Happy New Year!
We’ve been so busy here at Legacy Retreat House—there’s been no time to write a newsletter! And it looks like 2011 is shaping up to be just as busy!
We had some excitement here a few weeks ago- We had a couple of very large raccoons set up housekeeping in our ceiling! We learned a lot from this experience including the odd fact that raccoons like fried chicken. Who knew? That’s what our wildlife expert used to trap them. He said they were the biggest raccoons he’d caught all year. (I have to put a picture of this guy on our website. He looks like Puck from Glee!) You may be glad to hear that the raccoons are gone and the roof is fixed so no others can come in!
So—when will you be joining us this year? We have 4 openings for a hosted weekend January 21-23. The cost is $225 and includes a welcome gift and 5 meals from dinner on Friday to brunch on Sunday.
We also have openings for whole house rentals for Feb 11-13th and March 11-13th. There are also a few openings left for April. May and June are currently open if any scrapbookers are looking to tie-in to National Scrapbook Day.
