Welcome to Legacy Retreat House.  This historic house in Mount Penn, Pennsylvania was over the course of its lifetime: a tobacco shop, a speak- easy and the toll house for the trolley that ran to Carsonia Park- the place to go in Berks county from 1896-1950.  In fact, one of the beams used in the ceiling during a recent renovation is from the old trolley tracks.  Now, you'll find this house is a wonderful place for groups to get together for pleasure or business.

We hope you will bring your friends and relax with us for a weekend.  Whether you scrapbook, quilt, make jewelry, stamp, or study scripture, you can find a favorite spot in our house to do what you like to do best.  Make your memories come to life -- come stay with us.

 Exciting News!

Legacy Retreat House and Scraptacular Scrapbook Store are combining forces to better serve our scrapbooking customers and hopefully meet some new ones!  (Don’t worry!  We still love our quilters!)  We will be making a few changes to the house including…a big TV in the work room and wireless internet access!
Scraptacular is all moved in and we are getting ready for a Grand Reopening Celebration!  We will be having giveaways, sales and giving tours of the retreat house.  Join us for 4 days of fun:
